These Terms and Conditions govern the access to and use of the Affordable Destiny website and the provision of local accommodation services offered by the operating entity. By using the Website and making a reservation, the User (“Guest”) acknowledges that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these Terms and Conditions.

4. Reservation Conditions

4.1. Reservations can be made directly through the Website or by electronic contact.
4.2. A reservation is considered valid only after written confirmation and full payment as specified in these Terms.
4.3. The Guest is responsible for the accuracy of the information provided during the reservation process.
4.4. The Owner reserves the right to cancel reservations in cases of non-compliance, system abuse, fraud, or exceptional circumstances.

5. Payments

5.1. All reservations must be paid in full at the time of booking.
5.2. Failure to make payment will render the reservation invalid.
5.3. Available payment methods are listed on the Website and may vary depending on the accommodation unit.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1. Guests may cancel their reservation up to thirty weeks before check-in.

6.2. Cancellations made within this period may qualify for a refund as stated on the Website at the time of booking.

6.3. Cancellations after the permitted deadline, or failure to arrive (“no-show”), are not eligible for refund.

6.4. Date changes are treated as cancellations unless expressly authorized by the Owner.

7. Check-in and Check-out

• Check-out: until 11:00

7.1. Late arrivals must be communicated in advance.
7.2. A valid Identification Document may be required at check-in for mandatory reporting to the Portuguese authorities, as required by law.

8. Property Rules

8.1. Guests must use the property responsibly and comply with all internal rules.
8.2. The following are strictly prohibited:
• Smoking inside the properties;
• Parties or events;
• Excessive noise that disturbs public quietness.

8.3. Pets: allowed only in some accommodation units. Guests must verify this condition in the specific listing and confirm in advance.
8.4. Guests are fully responsible for any damages caused to the property, furniture, or equipment, whether by themselves, their companions, or their pets.

9. Owner’s Liability

9.1. The Owner guarantees that the accommodation meets all legal and safety requirements.
9.2. The Owner is not liable for:
• Loss, theft, or damage to Guests’ personal belongings;
• Interruptions in public services (water, electricity, internet) outside of the Owner’s control;
• Improper use of the accommodation by the Guest.

10. Guest’s Liability

10.1. The Guest agrees to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all internal property rules.
10.2. The Guest is responsible for any damage caused to the property during their stay.

11. Personal Data (GDPR)

11.1. Affordable Destiny Unipessoal Lda is the data controller for personal data provided by the Guest.

11.2. Data may be processed for:
• Reservation management;
• Compliance with legal obligations, including reporting to SEF;
• Administrative and accounting purposes.

11.3. Data will not be disclosed to third parties, unless required by law or necessary for service delivery.

12. Intellectual Property

14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit to the courts of the Lisbon district, unless mandatory legal provisions state otherwise
